At LNK&J Trucking LLC, we strive to provide reliable, professional transportation services. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations, changes, and refunds are handled for our trucking services.
1. Service Cancellations by Clients
To cancel a scheduled load or service request, clients must notify us as soon as possible.
Cancellation Requirements
• More than 24 hours before pickup: No cancellation fee.
• Less than 24 hours before pickup: A cancellation fee may apply depending on the distance traveled, time invested, or resources allocated.
• After driver dispatch: A Truck Ordered Not Used (TONU) fee will apply.
TONU fees typically costing $150-$300 are standard in the transportation industry and help cover time, fuel, and operational costs.
2. Refunds
Because trucking services involve time, fuel, and operational planning, refunds are handled as follows:
Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be issued only when:
• A payment was made in advance and
• The service has not yet been performed and
• The cancellation meets the conditions above
Non‑Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be issued for:
• Services already completed
• TONU situations
• Delays caused by weather, road closures, or conditions outside our control
• Incorrect information provided by the client that affects service delivery
3. Service Cancellations by LNK&J Trucking LLC
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule services due to:
• Safety concerns
• Equipment issues
• Severe weather
• Regulatory restrictions
• Situations beyond our control
If we must cancel a service, clients will be notified promptly, and any prepaid amounts for unperformed services will be refunded.
4. No Freight Brokerage Services
LNK&J Trucking LLC operates solely as a motor carrier.
We do not broker loads or arrange transportation for other carriers.
Refunds and cancellations apply only to services performed directly by our company.
